EN – Zadora, a Florence based Italian artist with Polish origins, has woven together a narrative of nature, art, and craftsmanship that spans places and cultures. Rooted in a background of industrial design, and trained in the art of wood cutting and polishing in Japan, the artist brings an eastern sensibility to the creative tradition of Europe.
Zadora’s mission is to bridge the natural realm with contemporary art, creating sculptures that evoke the profound beauty and resilience of nature. By transforming driftwood and other found materials into anthropomorphic figures, integrated with new media such as resin, aluminum, marble and wood, the artist seeks to celebrate the inherent artistry of the environment and its dialogue with human creativity. Each work is a dialogue between the organic and the industrial, the natural and the crafted. Their forms and materials aim to raise a connection between people and nature.
